ML XT F100 Conclusion
The depth and body that these speakers create is amazing. As an example, listen to 40 seconds of "Take Five" by Dave Brubeck on the XT F100s. The accuracy of the instruments and the presence of a soundstage is incredibly REAL. The saxophone in this track literally seems like it is in the room when it plays 23 seconds into the song. When the piano kicks in, you experience the same sensation.
One of the things that we expect out of any higher-end speaker is for it to WOW us with something. To us, this is the entry mark of a great speaker. These XTF100 do this and more. We go into more of these nuances in our video review above.
They feature:
- Gen2 Folded Motion® XT Tweeter (geez this thing sounds good) 90° x 45° tweeter dispersion (H X V) to help control resonances and room reflections
- Nomex®-Reinforced Kevlar® 6.5" mid-range
