Would you rather have GOOD stuff or BAD stuff? Sometimes our budgets dictate that we have the latter. However, here at Aire Theater Designs it is our job and mission to save the citizens of San Diego from BAD audio, video and home theater. If your budget determines that you have BAD audio/video equipment but you want GOOD stuff, follow this blueprint to build the home theater of your dreams by buying it in steps.

STEP 1: Choose a quality audio/video receiver and a pair of speakers: You want to choose a home theater receiver that allows you to hook up EVERYTHING that you want to connect today in addition to components that you may want to add tomorrow. You don't want to scrimp on your speakers as they make more of a difference, dollar-for-dollar, than anything else in your system. If you have just been listening to the TV speakers or an all-in-one home theater in-a-box, you will be BLOWN AWAY at the realism that your new system offers for music and movies.

STEP 2: Add a subwoofer: The subwoofer will add the lower bass frequencies that make an on-screen Tyrannosaur scare you and really gives you the UMMPPH of the theater. What many people realize once the subwoofer is in the system is that music sounds SO MUCH BETTER once you add this speaker. You will literally hear notes and nuances in your favorite song that you have never experienced.

STEP 3: Add a pair of tower speakers:  Now you are stepping it up a notch in your theater. Adding better speakers to the front of the room will give you more presence, realism and impact for your music and movies. Move your existing speakers to the back of the room and listen. Movies will come alive as scenes with objects hurtling front-to-back will now become a reality in your room! Don't forget to duck!

STEP 4: Add a center channel: This last addition will provide you with vocals that seem to come out of the TV. This final add to the system will help to "build a stage" so when scenes play out on-screen in front of you, a tapestry is built where the sounds, vocals and action on-screen come alive right before you. This last piece will put you directly IN the movie.

Now you have the recipe for building a home theater on a budget and we're the company that can provide you with the ingredients. With decades of experience, quality brands like Yamaha, Definitive Technology, Martin Logan, Monitor Audio. Denon and others, we can help you to do this right. Call us up if you're interested in enhancing your life through music and movies with a little help from San Diego's leading dealer of audio/video and home theater.
