Sony XBR55X850B r

Wow...just Wow. We will be brief and to the point. Until they are gone, you can get Sony's XBR55X850B 4K TV for 50% off! We think of this 55" TV as a Best Buy in category. We can get into all the mumbo-jumbo as far as features (TriLuminos, 4K Ultra HD, X Reality Pro, etc.) but the bottom line is that in our opinion, this TV gives you better colors, better motion processing and a better picture than anything at the price point. At 50% off it's a no-brainer. See below for details.

Sony on wall TV

Some of our clients just moved to a new home and they needed our help. They needed to move all of the equipment from their old house, get updated wiring in the new house, add a mixture of their old toys and some new ones and make things easy to operate. Sounds difficult but this is what we do every day. Some of the aspects include:

Sony on wall tv with speakers

70" Sony LED TV with speakers on a cinder-block wall? No problem! This multi-purpose room has surround sound (featuring Yamaha receiver, Artison speakers, Monitor Audio speakers), video games, pool tables and hidden electronics.

Sony XBR55X850B r

In this area the client wanted an AWESOME picture and great sound. They also didn't want to see the audio/video equipment. A Sony 55" 4K TV, Definitive Technology on-wall speakers, Sunfire in-wall subwoofer and gear hidden in the closet did the trick.

URC Total Control San Diego resized

To make all of the surround sound equipment and home automation gear behave, some form of control was needed. The above URC Total Control universal remote with iPad control is an elegant way to operate all of the systems. This allowed for the equipment to be hidden away and to use just ONE REMOTE to control everything!

Projects like this are fun and it's what we do every day. If you're interested in enhancing your life with music, movies or home automation, give us a call and let San Diego's home automation experts show you what's available today.

San Diego 4K TV | LG 98" 4K TV MONSTER

The man above, Robert Wadlow, was a giant. One of our manufacturers have just brought out the Robert Wadlow of 4K TVs (Robert Wadlow was 8'11" so it's almost as large as he was). Ladies and gentlemen...we present LG's 98" reference 4K TV!

98UB9800

LG has created the 98UB9800 to be both the biggest 4K TV available on the residential market as well as the best looking. In addition to being the size of a billboard (albeit, a small billboard), this television also boasts LG's best technologies for motion processing and color. This means that you'll have the BIGGEST TV on your block AND the best-looking as well. Here's a link that goes into more detail.

It's getting close to the Super Bowl. If you're not going to the game but want to feel like you're there, have us deliver this prior to the game. Want BIG, BAD, 4K technology? Give us a call and let San Diego's 4K TV experts explain today's audio/video toys and why they're a cool thing.

Sharp TVs | Go BIG!

RobertWadlow

Robert Wadlow: 8’11”

This guy to the left knows about big. Sharp's new behemoth does as well.

You want a big TV for the football season? Try Sharp's new 80" LED TV! Sharp claims that this is the "world's largest" commercially available LED TV to date. All I know is that the thing is HUGE! Think your 55" TV is big? This thing has the surface area of two of them.

In addition to being the size of a mini-van, the LC80LE632 offers Sharp's innovative Quattron technology that adds a 4th color to the standard red, blue and green pixels that are found on conventional TVs. This offers better colors and contrast than you find in many other TVs. It also includes built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and access to apps like Netflix, CinemaNow and VUDU.

Some other options of this 80-inch monster are an X-Gen LCD panel with 10-bit processing which was designed with advanced pixel control to minimize light leakage, a wider aperture to let more light through, dynamic contrast ratio of 6,000,000:1, 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced support for improved fast motion picture quality, two USB ports, and a game mode (Vyper Drive) that supposedly eliminates perceptible lag between video game consoles and the TV display.

Want a whopper? Call us up. We are taking orders for these currently and there is a waiting list so let us know ASAP if you are ready to step up your TV game.

Aire Theater Designs...San Diego's leaders in audio, video and home automation since 2005.

P.S. We're going back into the vaults of our blog to bring this one back as Sharp now has a 90" set that is readily available. WHOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA! If you're interested in seeing the TV (LC90LE745) that makes their 80" look like the runt of the litter, give us a call at San Diego's home for monstrous Sharp TVs.
