Some of our clients just moved to a new home and they needed our help. They needed to move all of the equipment from their old house, get updated wiring in the new house, add a mixture of their old toys and some new ones and make things easy to operate. Sounds difficult but this is what we do every day. Some of the aspects include:
70" Sony LED TV with speakers on a cinder-block wall? No problem! This multi-purpose room has surround sound (featuring Yamaha receiver, Artison speakers, Monitor Audio speakers), video games, pool tables and hidden electronics.
In this area the client wanted an AWESOME picture and great sound. They also didn't want to see the audio/video equipment. A Sony 55" 4K TV, Definitive Technology on-wall speakers, Sunfire in-wall subwoofer and gear hidden in the closet did the trick.
To make all of the surround sound equipment and home automation gear behave, some form of control was needed. The above URC Total Control universal remote with iPad control is an elegant way to operate all of the systems. This allowed for the equipment to be hidden away and to use just ONE REMOTE to control everything!
